You’d be forgiven for thinking Little Dragon is the Tricky of 2011 (but sexier). As light and breath-bubbly as a Mint Aero and fuelled with lo-fi fabulousity – it’s dance-electronica-soul-pop and there is pure colour in this synth sound. Swedish-Japanese vocalist, Yukimi Nagano’s little-girl-lost vocals are hypnotic. ‘Feather’ knocked the socks off the Gorillaz, who snapped the Swedish foursome up to collaborate on tunes for Plastic Beach and join them on their most recent world tour; seducing us silly in Oz.

Their upcoming July album release Ritual Union is set to breathe fire and blaze a new trail.
